Facebook (Meta) Advertising Back in Denver, Colorado

What A Week In The Social World!

I rarely share deep insights or what I've been working on but this one has sucked some serious life out of me.

Backstory: Earlier in the week, I had a Facebook account get banned from running ads (A Continuing Education Client) and it's sent me down a wild rabbit hole getting it activated. I'm a part of an Agency Group on Facebook that is limited (By Meta) to businesses like mine that have at least 10 clients. This is monitored by Facebook Business Associates.

Frustrations: Working with Managers and Other Agencies, I've found out that Facebook's support team is mostly freelancers that are hired out, no surprise there! Mostly out of the Philippines and India. They use two companies to hire out Teleperformance & Concentrix.

Why you care: A majority of phone calls or emails that you receive from Facebook reps saying your ads are running poorly or you "need to talk to us ASAP" are from these Teleperformance & Concentrix teams. Some of these sales members have never actually run a real Facebook/Instagram campaign before! I can guarantee that they probably haven't been to your local location either (local could mean town or United States in this case) :)
Before having a mini meltdown and raging because you think things aren't being run to their full potential maybe we can all step back and consider the source. An employee that just got hired on and needs to show an increase in revenue, for Facebook NOT you.

Conclusion: I'm working with 3 managers and still no solution has been provided. Or the reason for what caused the account to be banned. The only replies have been "policy violation" and no reason as to what in the policy was violated.

Update: Six days later after reaching out and having a total of 4 managers actually look, I was able to run these ads again. It’s super frustrating!
